PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaping part of a combine harvester allowing removal of grain culms clogged between a pair of plant foot-transporting chains with small operation force.
SOLUTION: There is provided the reaping part 4 of the combine harvester 1 provided with a pair of right and left transporting device 56 in the left lower part, and transporting device 57 in the right lower part. The reaping part of the combine harvester includes: a rotating wheel 56b for release which winds a left endless rotating chain 56a on the terminal end side in the transporting direction thereof a bracket 120 for freely rotatably supporting the rotating wheel 56b for release a release frame 110 for freely rotatably supporting the bracket 120 through a rotating shaft 121a in the direction to approach or separate from the other transporting device 57 in the right lower part a release lever 130 connected to a rotating shaft 123a of the rotating wheel 56b for release a rotating wheel 150 for guide rotatably supported on the release lever 130 a contact plate 160 disposed on the lateral side of the release lever 130, and contacting the rotating wheel 150 for guide and a fixing tool 140 for holding the release lever 130 so as to make the release lever unrotatable.
