PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warm water type heat retainer with high heat retaining performance having a U-shaped bending portion which can be applied widely over the affected part without needs of covering the heat retainer with a cloth or the like in use.SOLUTION: The heat retainer is essentially composed of a flexible rubber or a synthetic resin sheet material 11, and has, in a part, an entrance for water 13 that can be opened and closed. It also has a U-shaped bending portion 14 in which the whole or a part is bending in U-shape on the plain view.
