Disclosed is a method for cutting a groove and receiving a suture on a cutting and anastomosing (suturing) medical surgical instrument, as well as placing the suture body outside, wherein a groove (1) is cut on the side wall of a nail storing cartridge (2) and an attached ancillary structure of the cutting and anastomosing medical surgical instrument, and an identical groove (1) is cut on a corresponding housing (4) structure and/or a groove for receiving a suture (9) is cut along the line of the housing. Hence, the suture body (5) is synchronously mounted in the nail storing cartridge (2) along with a connected suturing nail (6), and the suture body (5) is placed outside through the groove (1), thus more efficiently and accurately counting and checking the suturing nail (6), to prevent the suturing nail (6) from being short-packed during production, and to prevent the suturing nail (6) being shed and lost during use.
