PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester that can restrain damage to a grass dividing body from being caused by contact between the grass dividing body and an obstacle.SOLUTION: A combine harvester comprises a cutting blade 31a, a grass dividing body 33, a runner 52, a first potentiometer 46, a second potentiometer 47, an information lamp, and an information buzzer. The cutting blade 31a reaps grain culms. The grass dividing body 33 divides the grain culms before they are reaped by the cutting blade 31a. The runner 52 is supported so as to be vertically movable below the grass dividing body 33, and comes into contact with the ground. The first potentiometer 46 detects a vertical position of the runner 52. The second potentiometer 47 detects a horizontal external force applied to the runner 52.
