PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overturn prevention device for a wheelchair, a device which reduces possibility that a leg member catches steps or the like as well as breaking, which promotes light weight, and which also reduces possibility of buckling when the leg member composed of helical springs touches the ground.SOLUTION: A forward overturn prevention device 1 for a wheelchair includes: a leg member 11 composed of closely adhered helical springs a support tool 12 for supporting the leg member and a fixture 13 for installing the leg member and the support tool in the wheel chair.
