PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide garlic which appeals to consumers, attains excellent convenience in cooking and allows the securement of traceability.SOLUTION: The length from the bottom end surface of a bulb 2 to the top end surface of a stem 5 is set between 80 mm and 120 mm by adjusting the cutting position of the stem 5 extending from the bulb 2. By so doing, garlic 1 has a novel specific shape and enhances appeal to consumers buying intention. When the stem 5 extending from the bulb 2 is plucked and bent while being twisted, the stem 5 is ruptured before long. At that time, the hull 4 of the bulb 2 is torn by external force from the stem 5 so that grains inside can be easily taken out to achieve excellent convenience.
