The invention relates to an aqueous personal cleansing composition, preferably a shower gel, comprising: (a) a nourishing oil component selected from marula oil, apricot kernel oil, argan oil, and/or tamanu oil； (b) a compatibilizing oil component selected from soybean oil, olive oil, coconut oil, and/or sunflower oil； (c) a surfactant system comprising: (i) an anionic surfactant and (ii) an amphoteric and/or zwitterionic surfactant； and (d) hydrophobically modified crosslinked acrylic copolymer.
