PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope reducing a load due to tensile stress and bending stress in a curved wire when curving, thus preventing breaking of the curved wire.
SOLUTION: Partial diameter enlarged surfaces 80, 90 where the inside diameter is most enlarged from a flexible pipe 40 side to a curved pipe 30 side in a diametral section and the diameter enlargement rate is gradually reduced at both sides of the most enlarged diameter part are provided at diametral opposite positions of the inner peripheral surface of a joining pipe member 50. A stay coil 70 and the joining pipe member 50 are adhesively bonded to each other at part of the flexible pipe 40 side of the partial diameter enlarged surfaces 80, 90, and at the other part on the curved pipe 30 side, the stay coil 70 and the partial diameter enlarged surfaces 80, 90 of the joining pipe member 50 are freely moved relatively.
