PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform quantitative evaluation of a joint fissure accurately and easily.SOLUTION: A medical image processing device includes a detection part, a classification part, and an output control part. The detection part detects three or more bones and a joint fissure region corresponding to a joint fissure of a joint from three-dimensional medical image data picked up of the joint formed of the three or more bones. The classification part classifies the joint fissure region into a plurality small regions for each pair of opposed bones of the three or more bones based on the three or more detected bones and the shape of the joint fissure region.
