PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood collecting instrument 1 in which a slide cover 10 mounted at a holder 20 can safely cover a sharp terminal (blade surface) of a terminal needle 2DE by sliding the slide cover 10 from a position farthest from the sharp terminal (blade surface) of the terminal needle 2DE.SOLUTION: A slide cover 10 has an operation part 12 and a needle cover 13. The slide cover 10 has the operation part 12 arranged to a base end PE side, and the needle cover 13 arranged to a terminal DE side. A holder body 20H forms a slide cover mounted part 20LR to an upper part U side. The slide cover 10 is slid in a direction of the terminal DE along the slide cover mounted part 20LR of the holder 20 from a first state in which the slide cover 10 is mounted at the upper part U of the holder 20.
