PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging system capable of improving an observation accuracy when performing an observation using a plurality of endoscopes compared with conventional ones.
SOLUTION: This imaging system has a first imaging section capable of outputting a first imaging signal, a second imaging section capable of outputting a second imaging signal, and a signal processing section for processing the first imaging signal and the second imaging signal and outputting them to a display section, wherein the signal processing section has a signal output destination determination section for determining the output destinations of the first imaging signal and the second imaging signal based on first identification information and second identification information, a signal distribution section for outputting the first imaging signal and the second imaging signal according to the control executed by the signal output destination determination section, and a signal output control section performing a control for outputting either one of a first subject image and a second subject image to the display section according to the first imaging signal and the second imaging signal output from the signal distribution section.
