An embodiment of the invention relates to the use of stabilized cancer peptide fragments derived from "redoxin proteins" selected from the group consisting of thioredoxin peroxiredoxin-1, 2 and 3 glutaredoxin-3 glutathione peroxidase-4 and nucleoredoxins for the diagnosis of cancers, particularly pancreatic cancer. A method for the detection of cancer, severity of cancer, and/or effectiveness of a therapeutic regimen comprises detecting and/or measuring the amount of redoxin peptide fragments present in the biological sample of a subject.Un mode de réalisation de la présente invention concerne lutilisation de fragments peptidiques de cancer stabilisé dérivés de "protéines redoxin" choisies dans le groupe constitué de la thiorédoxine la peroxyrédoxine -1, 2 et 3 de la glutarédoxine -3 la glutathione peroxydase -4 et nucleoredoxins pour le diagnostic de cancers, notamment le cancer du pancréas. Linvention concerne également un procédé pour la détection du cancer, de la gravité du cancer, et/ou de lefficacité dun régime thérapeutique qui comprend la détection et/ou la mesure de la quantité de fragments peptidiques redoxin présents dans léchantillon biologique dun sujet.
