A valve connector (1) for medical lines comprising a tubular body (2) having amale inlet fitting (3) with external luer cone (14), which can be coupled to a femaletubular fitting (5) with internal luer cone (8), wherein the inlet fitting (3)comprises an internally threaded external tubular element (10) for screwedengagement with the female fitting (5), and an internal tubular element (12)that can be displaced axially from a retracted position of closing to an advancedposition of opening of the valve means that control the passage of flow throughthe connector (1). The internally threaded external tubular element (10) isfree to turn, and the arrangement is such that, when it is screwed off the femalefitting (5) and the passage of flow is closed by the valve means, the external luercone (14) and the internal luer cone (8) remain axially coupled to one anotherby friction.
