The invention relates to a machine carried and driven by a universal medium-power tractor, meant to drill deep holes for placing poplar rods therein. According to the invention, the machine comprises a chassis (3) as a non-detachably assembled metal construction on which there is a vertical framework (4) provided with sliding guides and rack, stiffened at the top part by means of an upper frame (5) and detachably stiffened at the bottom part by means of a fastening system (6) on which a mobile subassembly (7) slides, driven by a hydraulic motor (8) provided with a worm reducing gear and a hydraulic motor (9) provided with a mechanical reducing gear at the kinematic output of which there is a flange (10) fastening a helical drill (11), the chassis (3) being provided with three hydraulic cylinders (12) and, on the cross axis thereof, there being a longitudinal cylindrical recess receiving a cylindrical shaft (13) which is fixed on a drive source (1), put into motion by a hydraulic motor (14) provided with a planetary reducing gear, the drive source (1) being provided at its front with a detachably stiffened support and transport framework (15).Invenţia se referă la o maşină de forat gropi adânci, purtată şi acţionată de un tractor universal de putere medie, destinată instalării sadelor de plop.
