The present invention relates to a screw driving system (1) for a vertical feed mixer, including a driving motor (3) mounted on one end of a base frame (30) a transmission shaft (5) of which one end is connected to a driving shaft (13) of the driving motor (3) and which transmits a driving force generated by the driving motor (3) to a screw (20) for mixing roughages in a hopper (40) installed on the base frame (30) and a reducer (7) connected to the other end of the transmission shaft (5) and configured to rotate the screw (20) by reducing the driving force of the driving motor (3) transmitted from the transmission shaft (5) and transmitting the reduced driving force to the screw (23). Accordingly, because the driving motor transmits the rotational driving force to the screw through the transmission shaft and the reducer to rotate the screw, a feed mixer may be installed indoors and thus the convenience of use of the feed mixer can be remarkably improved.
