PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mutant-10 sequence variants that retain the therapeutically desirable anti-inflammatory properties of wild-type IL-10 but do not retain the hemoatopoeitic cell regulatory activity and cell proliferative activity.SOLUTION: The invention provides a mutant IL-10 polypeptide wherein the residue present at a position corresponding to amino acid position 129 is replaced with another amino acid, a composition including the mutant IL-10 polypeptide, and a method for treating diseases involving inflammatory response, including neuropathic pain and other neurological disorders using the composition.【課題】野性型ＩＬ－１０の治療上所望される抗炎症性特性を保持するが、造血細胞調節活性および細胞増殖活性は保持しないＩＬ－１０配列改変体を提供する。【解決手段】アミノ酸位置１２９に対応する位置に存在する残基が別のアミノ酸で置換される変異体ＩＬ－１０ポリペプチド。及び、前記変異体ＩＬ－１０を含む組成物、並びに前記組成物を用いて、神経障害性の疼痛および他の神経学的障害を含む、炎症性応答に関する疾患を処置する方法。【選択図】なし
