PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both a tool for simplifying an operation for selectively pulling out seedling raising pots arranged in the longitudinal direction in a frame-like case from the frame-like case, and a method therefore. SOLUTION: Bottomed pot storage parts 11 having opening tops for storing and retaining seedling raising pots 1 each made of a resin so as to take in and out the seedling raising pots and a separation and arrangement tool 10 as a resin product for arranging open frame parts 12, through which the seedling raising pots 1 are passed, alternately in the longitudinal direction and connecting the open frame parts 12 are placed on a frame-like case 30. The pot storage parts 11 of the separation and arrangement tool 10 are inserted into and engaged with every other recessed parts 31a of bottomed recessed parts 31 arranged at fixed pitches in the longitudinal direction of the frame-like case 30. The seedling raising ports 1 are stored in each pot storage part 11 of the separation and arrangement tool 10 and in each recessed part 31b in an empty state of the frame-like case 30. A plant is raised in each seedling raising pot 1. At a stage of growth of a certain degree, the separation and arrangement tool 10 together with the seedling raising pots 1 of the pot storage parts 11 is raised from the frame-like case 30 and the seedling raising pots in the frame-like case 30 are separated into halves.
