PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image diagnostic device capable of efficiently performing portion detection.SOLUTION: A medical image diagnostic device includes a generation part, a storage part, a detection part, and an output control part. The generation part generates three-dimensional image data of a subject. The storage part stores a plurality of anatomical feature points in the subject in association with a plurality of groups. The detection part selects at least one group of the plurality of groups based on set examination information and a type of scan to be executed, and, based on the anatomical feature point corresponding to the selected group, detects a portion of the subject corresponding to at least one group.
