PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication device capable of verifying the identity of a user by a simple operation that makes the user feel no stress, and further, authenticating by the user or a password to be used or a value of biological information, arbitrarily setting an external instrument serving as an operational object, and realizing an authentication method having safety property and convenience.SOLUTION: When detecting that an authentication device 100 is worn by a user, the authentication device carries out authentication only once, by biological information or a password and transmits authentication information to an external instrument continuously while the authentication device is worn.
