PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopic device capable of securing airtightness at a connection part with a flexible tube and improving insertion property by keeping a hard substance part to a minimum, and a method for manufacturing the endoscopic device.
SOLUTION: The endoscopic device includes an endoscope insertion part, and a main body part that is connected to the base end of the flexible tube 17 of the endoscope insertion part, wherein the endoscope insertion part has: the flexible tube 17 having an elastic member layer 25 a curved part 16 connected to the edge part of the flexible tube 17 and capable of being curved an outer layer braided tube 18 having flexibility, obtained by braiding thin wires and covering over the flexible tube 17 and outside resin impregnated between the thin wires of the outer layer braided tube 18. The endoscopic device also includes: a mouth piece for connection 26 made substantially in a tubular shape and connected between the elastic member layer 25 of the flexible tube 17 and the curved part 16 or the main body part and a short tube 29 externally fitted on the outer layer braided tube 18 and fixing the outer layer braided tube 18 in the mouth piece for connection 26.
