PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible endoscope device capable of heightening insertability as an endoscope by forming thin an insertion part flexible tube by narrowing greatly a space necessary for arrangement of a bend detecting optical fiber. SOLUTION: In this flexible endoscope device, plural flexible bend detecting optical fibers 21 having respectively a bend detection part 22 wherein the light transmission quantity is changed corresponding to the magnitude of a bent angle are arranged along the insertion part flexible tube 1. In the device, a distal end reflection face 23 for reflecting light transmitted through the bend detecting optical fiber 21 from the base end side, so as to return light into the bend detecting optical fiber 21, is provided on the distal end face of the bend detecting optical fiber 21.
