PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fattening method that gives ruminants such as cows fibrous feed without depending on grass, and fattening feed comprising such feed.SOLUTION: Bleached pulp or paper comprising the same is fed to ruminants such as cows. Preferably, the bleached pulp is one obtained by oxygen bleaching, and particularly preferably, one in which lignin is sufficiently removed and a cellulose content is 99% or more.
