Provided herein is an oral care composition comprising taurine or a salt thereof in an amount of from 0.001 weight % to 0.008 weight % by total weight of the composition, and an orally acceptable carrier. The composition is effective in accelerating HSP 27 production in damaged tissues of the oral cavity and enhances repair of the damaged tissue.L'invention concerne une composition de soin bucco-dentaire comprenant de la taurine ou un sel de celle-ci dans une quantité comprise entre 0,001 % en poids et 0,008 % en poids par rapport au poids total de la composition, ainsi qu'un excipient acceptable par voie orale. Cette composition est efficace pour accélérer la production d'HSP 27 dans des tissus endommagés de la cavité buccale et améliore la réparation du tissu endommagé.
