PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional wheelchair is very complicated in structure for dividing a seat into two parts and the absence of means for fixing a wheelchair body when a disabled person moves into the wheelchair poses an extreme danger.SOLUTION: The wheelchair includes the a seat to be divided into two parts, a space where the rear face and the bottom under the seat are opened and permit a movable bed for a disable person to be inserted under the seat, a body having both sidewalls, respective device for driving the seat to open and close in the direction of separating the splittable seat from each other and bringing the split seats into contact with each other by each moving to the sides, holding plates of the means for driving the seat to open and close which are provided on both sidewalls, respectively, brakes for wheels, operation devices for the brakes, and devices for driving synchronously the seat to open and close and the means for actuating the brakes.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】従来の車椅子では座席を二つ割りする構成が極めて複雑であると共に、身障者が車内に移動する際車体を固定する手段を有しないので極めて危険であった。【解決手段】本発明の車椅子は、二つ割れ自在な座席と、背面及び座席下部の底面が開放されており、上記座席下面に身障者移動用ベッドを挿入できる空隙と、両側壁を有する車体と、上記二つ割れ自在な座席を互いに離、接する方向に夫々側方に移動して開閉せしめる、それぞれの座席の開閉駆動手段と、上記両側壁の夫々に設けた上記座席の開閉駆動手段の保持板と、車輪のブレーキと、このブレーキの作動手段と、上記座席の開閉駆動手段と上記ブレーキの作動手段を同期して駆動する同期駆動手段とより成ることを特徴とする。【選択図】図4
