PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn stopper which can fix a supporting member blocking a through hole in a body part in a simple structure.SOLUTION: A yarn stopper 8 of a fishing reel comprises: a yarn stopping component 20 including a fishing line-holding part 21 and a spindle part 22 and a support member 10 which supports the yarn stopping component 20 and blocks a through hole 9 formed in a body part of the fishing reel.
