The present invention is a composition comprising 0.1 to 10.0% by weight of a mixture of glycosaminoglycans containing dermatan sulfate and chondroitin sulfate, wherein the amount of dermatan sulfate is at least based on the total amount of glycosaminoglycans. The composition is intended to be 5% by weight and 95% by weight or less and the amount of chondroitin sulfate is at least 5% by weight and 95% by weight or less. Furthermore, the present invention also provides a glycosaminoglycan composition comprising dermatan sulfate and chondroitin sulfate, wherein the amount of dermatan sulfate is at least 5% by weight and not more than 95% by weight based on the total amount of glycosaminoglycan. The use of a composition having an amount of chondroitin sulfate of at least 5% by weight and not more than 95% by weight as an anti-aging composition is also targeted.
