PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide intestinal flora improving agents comprising a shell membrane-containing powder or an impalpable powder.SOLUTION: The present invention provides an intestinal flora improving agent which comprises a shell membrane-containing powder, particularly a shell membrane-containing impalpable powder having a volume mean particle diameter of 6 μm or less, or having a volume maximal particle diameter of 20 μm or less.
