PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide intestinal flora improving compositions which comprise an eggshell membrane-containing powder or impalpable powder and which promote producing type III collagen in combination with hydrolyzed eggshell membrane component.SOLUTION: The present invention provides an intestinal flora improving composition which comprises a shell membrane-containing powder, particularly a shell membrane-containing impalpable powder having a volume mean particle diameter of 6 μm or less, or having a volume maximal particle diameter of 20 μm or less.
