PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide solutions of factor Xa (fXa) antidotes and methods of preparing lyophilized formulations thereof.SOLUTION: A suitable aqueous formulation suitable for lyophilization can include an fXa antidote, a solubilizing agent, a stabilizer, and a crystalline component, where the formulation does not collapse during lyophilization. The present disclosure provides lyophilized formulations for a derivative of the factor Xa (fXa) protein, also referred to as the "r-Antidote".
