PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root crop harvester capable of suppressing an occurrence of clogging of a root crop between a conveyance device and a cutting device.SOLUTION: The root crop harvester includes: a crawler travel device a machine body frame 12 supported by the crawler travel device a conveyance device 28 that is supported by the machin body frame 12, clamps a leaf part b of a carrot (a), lifts the carrot (a) from a field in a suspended state, and conveys it and a cutting device 46 that is located at a lower side of the conveyance device 28 and cuts a tail part of the carrot conveyed by the conveyance device 28. The cutting device 46 is configured to be able to retract downward by resistance of the carrot to be conveyed by the conveyance device 28.
