PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting member that is easy to use and enables a tooth movement mode close to or close to tooth movement. SOLUTION: A connecting member 13 for connecting an orthodontic wire 11 that pulls a tooth 20 and a pulling member 14 that pulls the wire 11, and the connecting member 13 can be pulled by the pulling member 14. The connecting member 13 has a flexible portion 13a. The connecting member 13 can be bent and extended by deformation of the flexible portion 13a. The connecting member 13 is extended in a state where no force is applied to the connecting member 13. The connection member 13 can be bent by applying a traction force by the traction member 14, or the connection member 13 is bent in a state where no force is applied to the connection member 13, and the traction force is applied by the traction member 14. The connecting member 13 can be extended, and when the connecting member 13 is bent or extended by applying a pulling force by the pulling member 14, the deformed flexible portion 13 a tries to return to the lip side.
