PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve temporal accuracy of a correction signal while reducing noise.SOLUTION: An X-ray CT apparatus of an embodiment comprises an X-ray tube, an X-ray detector, a first collection unit, a reference detector, a second collection unit, and an image generation unit. The X-ray tube irradiates a subject with an X-ray. The X-ray detector is composed of a plurality of detection elements for detecting an X-ray having passed through the subject. The first collection unit collects X-ray signals detected by a detection element group including a plurality of detection elements of the X-ray detector. The reference detector includes a first detection element and second detection element that detect an X-ray radiated from the X-ray tube. The second collection unit collects a first correction signal for the X-ray detected by the first detection element and a second correction signal for the X-ray detected by the second detection element, at different timing.
