PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a syringe including a cylinder having a tapered part at the distal end, a plunger inserted in the cylinder, and a gasket provided on the distal end of the plunger, brought into liquid-tight contact with the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder and freely axially slidable, in which a wrapping film is prevented from being torn due to the plunger powerfully moving to the rear end side of the cylinder during sterilization treatment after wrapping the syringe with the wrapping film.SOLUTION: On the distal end of the tapered part 31, an air path 52 is provided for communicating the inner circumferential surface and outer circumferential surface of the tapered part 31.
