PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an awakening luminaire capable of irradiating the head of a sleeper with a light even if the sleeper moves for bedsore prevention or the like.SOLUTION: An awakening luminaire 1 comprises: a body 10 including an interior space 10b for accommodating the head of a sleeper and an opening 11 capable of inserting and extracting the neck part of a sleeper from an interior space； and a visor 20 rotatable vertically of the body. A luminaire 50 irradiates the light toward the inner periphery of the body or the visor so that a proper portion (e.g., the sleeper, especially the head part) can be irradiated with the light even if the sleeper moves for a bedsore prevention or the like.【課題】就寝者が寝返り等により移動しても就寝者の頭部に光を照射できる目覚まし照明装置を提供する。【解決手段】目覚まし照明装置１は、就寝者の頭部を収容する内部空間１０ｂと、内部空間から就寝者の首部を出し入れ可能な開口１１と、を有する本体１０と、本体に対し上下方向に回動可能なバイザー２０とを備える。本体又はバイザーの内周面に向かって照明装置５０が光を照射するので、就寝者が寝返り等により移動しても光を適切な箇所（就寝者、特に頭部）に照射できる。【選択図】図５
