PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice transplanter capable of improving workability of end aligning work and accuracy of a stop position of a seedling tray and reliably stopping the end aligning work even when a situation calls for instant reaction.SOLUTION: The rice transplanter includes: a seedling planting device mounted on the rear part of a traveling machine body a PTO clutch for connecting/disconnecting the power transmission to the seedling planting device a clutch operation tool for putting on/off the PTO clutch an end aligning operation tool for performing the end alignment mode by laterally feeling the seedling tray to one of left/right moving ends and stopping it a continuously variable transmission for changing the power of an engine and a speed change operation tool provided on the traveling machine body. In the end alignment mode, the power is transmitted to the seedling planting device via the PTO clutch by operating the speed change operation tool by a prescribed amount or more, to start the lateral feed movement of the seedling tray. The rice transplanter stops the currently executing end alignment mode by an operation of returning the speed change operation tool to the stop state.
