PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice transplanter capable of improving workability of end aligning work and accuracy of a stop position of a seedling tray, and reliably stopping the end aligning work even when a situation calls for instant reaction.SOLUTION: The rice transplanter includes: a seedling planting device mounted on a rear part of a traveling machine body a PTO clutch for determining power transmission to the seedling planting device a clutch operation tool for putting on/off the PTO clutch an end aligning operation tool for executing an end alignment mode to laterally feeding a seedling tray to one of left/right movement ends and stopping it a continuously variable transmission for changing power of an engine and a speed change unit provided on the traveling machine body. In the end alignment mode, the power is transmitted to the seedling planting device via the PTO clutch by operating a speed change unit by a prescribed amount or more to start the lateral feeding movement of the seedling tray. When the end aligning operation unit is operated again, the rice transplanter stops the currently executing end alignment mode.
