This invention provides an apparatus for generating negative pressure, including a vacuum pump, a sound-isolation module and a noise-reducing pipeline module. The vacuum pump has an inlet end and an outlet end. The sound-isolation module has an accommodation space for placing the vacuum pump. The sound-isolation module is used for insolating noise and vibration generated by the vacuum pump itself from the surrounding when it is operated. The noise-reducing pipeline module includes a flexible inlet pipeline with an opening communicated with the inlet end of the vacuum pump, and a flexible outlet pipeline with an opening communicated with the outlet end of the vacuum pump. The noise-reducing pipeline module is used for eliminating the noise of the inlet and outlet ends of the vacuum pump.
