PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and simple bactericidal device for a culture solution which can be used for a small-scale of hydroponics system, and to provide a method for eliminating bacteria.SOLUTION: The bactericidal device 1 for a culture solution for hydroponics includes: a filtration tank 2 and a flat plate type membrane module 3 using a microfiltration membrane or an ultrafiltration membrane and an air diffusion device 5 provided under the flat plate type membrane module 3.
