A method for making proteins biologically active is suitable for activating a protein-containing sample, and sequentially includes a pretreatment step and an activation step. In the pretreatment step, the sample is irradiated with a heating source capable of emitting heat-maintaining light, and the sample is stirred so that the temperature of the sample reaches between 40°C and 42°C. In the activation step, the sample is irradiated with a light source with a wavelength of 420 nm to 460 nm.
