The present invention relates to a fungicidal composition and specifically relates to a fungicidal composition comprising prothioconazole and fludioxonil. The present invention also relates to a method for prevention and treatment of plant pathogens. The present invention also relates to control or prevention and treatment of plant diseases of harvested fruits during a post-harvest storage stage. The fungicidal composition comprising prothioconazole and fludioxonil has a weight ratio of prothioconazole to fludioxonil of 1:100 to 100:1. By means of binary compounding of prothioconazole and fludioxonil for acting on a pathogen and/or an environment thereof, or on a plant, plant part, seed, soil, area, material or space, the present invention is applicable in prevention and treatment of fungi and bacteria on grains, fruits, and vegetables, thus achieving an synergistic effect.
