1. A composition comprising a first polypeptide epitope from RSV and a second polypeptide epitope from RSV, where the first and second epitopes are covalently linked to one or more polyelectrolytes, where one or more polyelectrolytes are in one or more multilayer films, where one or more multilayer films each contains two or more layers of polyelectrolytes, where adjacent layers contain oppositely charged polyelectrolytes, where the polyelectrolyte contains a polycationic substance or a polyanionic substance having a molecular weight exceeding guide 1000 and at least 5 charges per molecule, and wherein the first polypeptide epitope of RSV and a second polypeptide epitope of RSV are the same or different multilayer plenkah.2. The composition according to claim 1, wherein the at least one polyelectrolyte of the multilayer film contains an engineered polypeptide, wherein the engineered polypeptide has a sufficient charge for stable binding to an oppositely charged surface. The composition of claim 2, wherein the length of the designed polypeptide is at least 15 amino acids and the polypeptide has a total charge per residue at a neutral pH greater than or equal to 0.1, and wherein said designed polypeptide contains a first polypeptide epitope from RSV, a second polypeptide epitope from RSV, or both of these epitopes. 4. The composition of claim 1, wherein the first RSV polypeptide epitope and the second RSV polypeptide epitope are in the same polyelectrolyte and in the same multilayer film. The composition of claim 1, wherein the first polypeptide epitope from RSV and the second polypeptide epitope from RSV are in different polyelectrolytes. The composition according to claim 5, �1.
