PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a color ocular fundus image efficiently.
SOLUTION: The apparatus has three color light sources of red, green, and blue, a light source unit having an infrared light source, a scanning optical system for scanning the measuring light on a fundus of a test eye, a light receiving optical system for receiving the reflective light of the measuring light with a light receiving element, an image acquisition part obtaining fundus images at every frame based on the received signal, a display monitor of the fundus images, a memory memorizing the fundus images at every frame, a trigger input means for starting the acquisition of the fundus image of each color from the three light sources, and a control means for outgoing each color light toward the fundus from the three light sources based on the trigger signal by the trigger input means under the condition where the infrared fundus images are obtained by the light from the infrared light source continuously and displayed on the monitor as moving images, and releasing the control of incoming of the infrared light toward the light receiving element and displaying the moving images of the infrared images after the fundus image of one frame of each color is obtained.
