PURPOSE: An antibacterial composition containing Cinnamomum japonicum essential oil is provided to ensure antibacterial activity against Malassezia pachydermatis, Malassezia furfur, and Candida albicans； and to be applied in skin formulation and cosmetic materials for external use. CONSTITUTION: An antibacterial composition against Candida albicans contains Cinnamomum japonicum essential oil as an active ingredient. The essential oil contains 25-40 wt% of cineole, 10-30 wt% of cymene, 1-10 wt% of linalool, and 0.5-5 wt% of terpineol. The antibacterial composition is manufactured in the form of a solution, a suspension, a spray, a patch, a pad, a cream, an ointment, and a gel.본 발명은 생달나무 추출 정유를 포함하는 항균용 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 생달나무로부터 추출한 정유의 성분을 분석하고, 정유가 말라세지아 패시더마티스(Malassezia pachydermatis), 말라세지아 푸르푸르(Malassezia furfur), 칸디다 알비칸스(Candida albicans) 등의 피부염 원인균에 대한 항균 활성을 가짐을 확인함으로써, 생달나무 추출 정유를 유효성분으로 포함하는 항균성 조성물, 피부외용제 및 화장료에 관한 것이다.
