PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus and a program for visually determining the degree of deterioration of a deteriorated section on an image.

SOLUTION: A CPU 18 sets a reference point of the deteriorated section to be inspected in an image obtained by imaging an inspection target using an endoscope 2. The CPU 18 also calculates the display position of a mark that becomes a reference of inspection for determining the degree of deterioration of a deteriorated section by visual inspection of the image, based on the position of the reference point and an inspection reference value. A video signal processing circuit 12 processes the image to display the mark at a display position calculated by the CPU 18.
