PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sugarcane harvester, including a crop divider, a base cutter, a drawing device, etc., in which a feed means to actively feed sugarcane to the drawing device is attached to the base cutter in a simple form, with its mechanism devised to be high in strength, rigidity, and durability.SOLUTION: On an upper part of an outer cylinder of the base cutter, a pair of horizontal support shafts 34 are provided on the left and the right (as seen from the front), and both ends of arc-shaped presser members 32 are rotatably supported by the horizontal support shafts 34. The presser members 32 are thus supported to be able to oscillate vertically freely within a prescribed range.
