The new blade has arced ridges that are concentric with the cutting disc axis. The arc on each point of the ridge has the same rotation direction as the point. The blade can self-whet. The reciprocating cutting devices on harvesters in the world have already replaced the blades having finished edges with self-whetting blades. Self-whetting blades having concentric arced ridges can replace blades having finished edges for cutting discs. As figures indicated, several slanted iron pieces 2 are distributed evenly and fixed on a disc 3 at places of equal distances from the center. The bottom angle β of a slanted iron piece and the blade angle α of the blade are equal. Blades having finished edge 1 are fixed on the slanted iron pieces 2, such that the positions of the edges of the blades are the same as on the cutting disc during operation and are of equal distance from the disc.
