PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental root canal treatment handpiece that can restrain an influence on a root canal measuring circuit caused by touching living tissue, with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: The dental root canal treatment handpiece includes: a distal end head part 2 a small-diameter neck part 3 connected to the distal end head part 2 a grip part 4 connected to the neck part 3 and gripped by fingers and a tool holding member 28 holding a cutting rotary tool 5 detachably and mounted in the distal end head part 2 rotatably around the axis of the cutting rotary tool 5 through bearings 32, 33. A conductor 85 for transmitting a root canal length measurement signal, placed in an electrically conductive state to the cutting rotary tool 5, is provided to reach the neck part 3.
