PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preventive or therapeutic agent of mastitis, a preventive or therapeutic feed of mastitis, and a preventive or therapeutic method of mastitis which is inexpensive and safety, and to provide a production method of high quality milk which can reduce the number of somatic cells in milk.SOLUTION: A preventive or therapeutic agent of mastitis of the invention contains coffee beans. Residue after extraction of coffee beans is preferably used for the coffee beans. A preventive or therapeutic feed of mastitis of the invention contains the preventive or therapeutic agent of mastitis. A preventive or therapeutic method of mastitis of the invention comprises administering or feeding the coffee beans to livestock. A production method of high quality milk of the invention which reduces the number of somatic cells in milk comprises administering or feeding the coffee beans to livestock.
