To provide a surgical instrument for artificial knee joint replacement surgery in which a resection guide part can be prevented from rising out of a thighbone distal end in the bone resection of the thighbone distal end.SOLUTION: A surgical instrument 1 for artificial knee joint replacement surgery includes: a resection guide part 2 provided with slits 12, 13, 14a, 14b for guiding the resection direction of a resection blade for surgically removing the thighbone distal end 101； and a pressing part 3 capable of pressing the resection guide part 2 installed to the thighbone distal end 101 toward the thighbone distal end 101. The pressing part 3 comprises an abutment part 35 coming in abutment with the resection guide part 2 provided at one end side of a shaft part 31 of the pressing part 3.
