The present invention relates to the use of a combination (i) of at least one carotenoid, (ii) of at least one phytooestrogen, and (iii) of vitamin C, as an active agent for moisturizing the skin, for the preparation of a cosmetic composition that is suitable for orally administering a daily doseof from 1 to 25 mg of the said carotenoid, from 10 to 300mg of a phytooestrogen and from 10 to 1000 mg of vitamin C.La présente invention concerne l'utilisation, comme agent actif d'hydratation de la peau, d'une combinaison associant (i) au moins un caroténoïde, (ii) au moins un phytoestrogène et (iii) de la vitamine C, dans le cadre de la préparation d'une composition cosmétique assurant l'administration par voie orale d'une dose journalière de 1 à 25 mg dudit caroténoïde, de 10 à 300 mg d'un phytoestrogène et de 10 à 1 000 mg de vitamine C.
